To achieve this, the clinic has eliminated provider-centric layouts, instead creating a comfortable and pleasant environment focused on patients, offering a differentiated medical experience. Comprising a Radiology Center, Outpatient Center, Surgery Center, and Inpatient Building, UWell Urology Clinic is designed to function as a specialized hospital, performing all treatments and surgeries related to urology with excellence. Since its opening in 2015, UWell Urology has demonstrated an efficient and compact spatial design built on accumulated interior design expertise from multiple renovations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon entering the clinic, patients first notice the large media wall in the waiting hall and the ceiling, which resembles origami. The beautiful nature images displayed on the media wall provide a calming experience for patients waiting for their appointments. Centered around high-definition, nature-themed videos shown on a screen over 10 meters wide, the visual experience transcends space and time, allowing viewers to enjoy various perspectives of nature. With the screens installed at eye level, the immersive, high-resolution visuals draw patients\u2019 attention, created collaboratively by scriptwriters and film directors to ensure a seamless experience. Patients are naturally drawn into the narrative of the video, relieving them from the monotony of their smartphones. This media wall acts as a window to the outside world in the naturally lit waiting hall, immersing viewers in filmed nature scenes and encouraging reflection on life and health. The design of the space, colors, and media content is meticulously planned to create a cohesive environment where space and media interact as a single set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceiling design overcame the limitations of a low flat ceiling by maintaining essential facility pipes and ducts while maximizing height. The high and low ceilings are connected with triangular shapes, creating a dynamic, rhythmic flow similar to origami. The warm wood finishes, paired with carefully calibrated lighting, enhance the comfort of the waiting hall, providing a sense of peace and relaxation. The walls adjacent to the waiting hall are topped with glass, which maximizes visual openness by exposing the ceiling beyond, further expanding the space and enhancing the sense of openness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each room was textured with stucco spraying and plastering, allowing it to respond sensitively to light.
